Looking for a dynamic individual to become the leader of the technology group. This position will manage and be responsible for worldwide research and development efforts including new product development, marketing technical support, project control and budgeting. The Technology Director will represent the Company in national technical societies, with government agencies, and with outside firms in technical matters that can also influence marketing objectives.
The Technology Director must possess an advanced degree in Science or Engineering (PhD. or Master's Degree) and/or 5-10 years equivalent experience in an applied research environment dealing with advanced materials research, alternative energy products, and program management. A demonstrated track record of achievement is required, domestically and internationally.
The Technology Director must have excellent leadership abilities, and management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to relate complex technical issues to all levels in layman's terms, and must be able to understand marketing needs and trends and to relate technical issues to marketing goals, domestically and internationally. Must have the ability to keep in mind practical needs of the customer in new product development
Looking for a candidate with diverse mathematical skills to become the leader of our analytical team. MaxTek International uses many new mathematical modeling techniques and specialized computer software in its cutting-edge research programs. It needs people fluent with these advanced techniques and computer programs to foster a tighter integration of mathematics and the field under research. Our desired candidate is able to review and evaluate data and designs, and make appropriate sketches, drawings, modeling, or simulations.
The Mathematical Modeling Expert must possess an advanced degree in Science or Engineering (PhD. or Master's Degree) and/or 5-10 years equivalent experience in an environment dealing with advanced mathematical modeling endeavors. A demonstrated track record of achievement is required.
The Mathematical Modeling Expert must have excellent ability to provide mathematical modeling of complex systems to develop computer codes and simulations for analysis of physical systems and phenomena. Our Expert must be thoroughly knowledgeable in Monte Carlo, continuous, and discrete event simulations and be able to formulate multi-agent systems. A thorough knowledge of modeling and simulation of structural materials including aluminum, carbon steels, superalloys, and plastics as well as modeling of soft matter such as elastomers, gels, foams and liquid crystals is required. The mathematical modeling skills should span to cover a wide range of production steps, including melt flow and solidification, coating, shaping, thermal treatment, deep drawing, extrusion, hard rolling, hardness and ductility, damage initiation, and deformation behavior. An up to date knowledge of numerical methods and practices used to solve complex engineering models is required. This position requires the ability to implement modeling efforts using various software such as MATLAB code to allow analysis of results in more sophisticated ways, and to consider the results in broader theoretical frameworks.
Looking for a creative professional with more than ten years of experience in managing the proposal development process ensuring development, production, and on-time delivery of persuasive, compliant, high-quality technical and cost proposals. This position requires the ability to develop strategy and plan to capture long-term contracts and will serve as the manager for all proposals generated by our Business Development Group.
The Proposal Manager analyzes and scrubs RFPs and RFIs to create outlines and compliance matrices; works closely with BD Team, Business Finance, and technical leads to prepare required responses; assigns responsibility in meeting proposal deliverables; develops and manages the proposal schedules; initiates and facilitates all meetings and reviews; serves as the primary point of contact for authors and team members regarding proposal activities; prepares and maintains all data collection forms, proposal templates, presentation templates, capture plans, and draft assignments; writes or edits company information, resumes, project descriptions; proofreads and edits material submitted by authors to ensure a quality document is being distributed to reviewers and ultimately to the customer; assists with writing assignments as requested; coordinates/facilitates green and red team reviews; supervises the generation of proposal-required CDRL items and compliance documents, the review of BOEs/Rationale, and Gate Reviews; coordinates essential stakeholders for all sign-offs and approvals. Must demonstrate the necessary personality and leadership skills to engage and motivate a diverse group of scientists, consultants and subcontractors. This position will also serve as the 'gatekeeper' and 'Master of Timelines' for all proposals.
Minimum of 12+ years related experience
Must have strong leadership skills, program management experience, proposal preparation skills, excellent customer interface, and requirement definition experience.
Experience in risk management and assessment, cost account management, cost estimation and engineering planning.
Must have the ability to communicate both internally and externally.

Candidate must possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as word processing and desktop publishing experience. Position requires an acute attention to detail and impeccable proofreading and editing skills. Excellent ability to interact skillfully and diplomatically with numerous counterparts, and cross company teams. Must be able to take charge of business acquisition proposal development team including chairing Bid-No-Bid/Price Kickoff meetings, presenting price review packages to senior management, supporting customer audits and contract negotiations. Must be an excellent communicator, decision maker, and comfortable with raising issues in a timely manner.
